Task

Before the project, the task was to develop a logo for the digital portal "1000 New Buildings", working as an independent information service in the primary real estate market. The visual sign had to clearly separate the platform from developers and agencies, forming an image of a neutral aggregator focused on search, comparison, and systematization of new building data.

Additionally, it was required to create a logo adapted to the digital environment and various usage formats: website, advertising materials, interface elements, and search results. The visual solution had to be concise, scalable, and easily readable, avoiding direct architectural and developer cliches while maintaining an associative connection with the theme of housing choice and information structuring.

Work on the logo began with an analysis of the service's role in the market. "1000 New Buildings" does not sell real estate directly and does not represent the interests of specific developers - the platform acts as a navigation tool, helping the user navigate a large array of offers. Therefore, at the first stage, solutions tightly tied to architectural forms and the image of development were consciously rejected, as they shifted the brand's perception towards a developer or agency.

In the process of searching, the focus shifted to the metaphor of orientation and choice. Signs related to navigation, direction of movement, and search for the optimal path were considered. This logic turned out to be closer to the essence of the service: the user is not just looking at objects, but making a decision, comparing, and choosing.

 As a result, the key visual basis became the image of a compass - a universal symbol of orientation, search, and confident movement in a complex system of coordinates.

Further work went in the direction of simplification and graphic neutrality. The compass was cleared of unnecessary details and stylized to a concise sign, suitable for the digital environment. The circular shape ensured stability and iconography, and the internal arrow set a clear semantic accent without overloading the visual language. Such a solution allowed preserving associative depth and at the same time achieving high readability in the interface and small sizes.

Result

As a result, the portal received a concise and understandable logo that accurately reflects its role in the real estate market. The image of the compass fixed the positioning of the service as a navigation tool, helping the user to navigate in a large volume of offers and make informed decisions when choosing a new building. The sign is read unambiguously and does not create associations with developers or agencies.

The logo works sustainably in the digital environment: on the site interface, icons, advertising formats and search output. The round shape and graphic simplicity provide good scalability and recognition, and the neutral visual language allows the brand to remain relevant in the further development of the platform and expansion of the service's functionality.
